Album Info:CSX ordered the widecab version of the C40-8, after receiving almost 150 units of the standard cab. They were delivered in the YN2 paint scheme. CSX also received units from Conrail, which they numbered in the 7300 series. (All former CR units have been retired and sold) A few units were upgraded as CM40-8's and repainted in the YN3b paint scheme. A lot of units were sold to GE and became part of the GECX lease fleet.
