Album Info:Here is a two-page article entitled "New Cars for Commuters." It was published originally in the July-August 1963 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, pages 12-13. No author is specified. "They are 35 percent longer than standard PRR MU cars, but weigh 30 percent less. They can accelerate 50 percent faster with the same installed horsepower. They resemble six earlier MU's of this type placed in service by the PRR in 1958. Riding quality, however, is deemed improved. Each car seats 124 to 127." (Page 13)
