Album Info:Canadian National, Norfolk Southern, and the AMTRAK Maple Leaf get the spotlight this month - with special guest appearances by GO Transit, a Trillium ALCO Switcher in action - and my wonderful grandson Xander - who was thrilled to stand on the CN Track Equipment at Merriton.

Description:  I picked up Train 562 on my scanner as it left Port Robinson Yard for Merriton, so headed to the Garner Road crossing just in time to catch it as it rumbled towards the Welland Canal. That's the Taylor Road overpass in the distance.

We arrived just in time to watch some fine ALCO switching action, and took a few pics on the CN Track equipment. No horsing around, just hoist him onto the platform, and say cheese!!
