Album Info:On February 17, I went to see the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma located in Enid, NNW of Oklahoma City. It was awesome! Located in the old Santa Fe freight depot, they have a ton of railroad memorabilia and several huge model layouts on display inside, including an extensive Lionel set. Watermelon Campbell, the guy who gave the tour, didn't look a day over 70--but boy, was I impressed when I found out he was actually 96 years old! Mind sharp as ever, doesn't use a cane or a walker. Outside, though, were the real treats. Frisco 1519 is the highlight of the collection, but there's also a tonner diesel (which they plan to eventually use for excursions) and more cabooses than you can count! Description:  With their oversized balconies and bay windows, Missouri Pacific cabooses have the most unique construction of those I have seen from major railways. One of these can still be seen roaming around Tulsa, as it helps switch cars. Watch out for it next time you're there!

Description:  Another Southern Pacific caboose, this one with the museum logo added to it. The museum has had all these cars inspected by the FRA, and they are all approved to run on main lines. Note that the caboose has two numbers-above the door at the near end, the number painted is SPCX 58.
