Album Info:Howdy, folks! Saw the Eisenhower Train today at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin (or Ashwaubenon, if you want to get technical about it). It was also Paw Patrol day, which meant the museum was very crowded, but I managed to get some shots of the engine in spite of all the people. This train was used on British Railways for many years, and Eisenhower used it to get around England during WWII. It was donated to the museum when it was retired in the 1960s, and Eisenhower himself was present for the donation of it! I hope you enjoy seeing this historic train!

Description:  Biggest difference between US and overseas trains. On US trains, the couplers are built sturdily enough to keep the cars from crashing into each other. The European trains have much flimsier sets, requiring buffers to keep the cars from bumping into one another. Thats why you never see them when youre watching trains here in America, even though all the ones on Thomas and Friends have them!
