Viewing Album:  ALCO at work on the M&D

Album Info:Jim McDonald & I stumbled onto an eastbound train approaching Centreville, Md. The Alco, albeit an M, brought 2 covered hoppers westbound to Centerville. Here the RS3 ran around the cars placing the Alco on the east side of the consist. The train then headed back esat across Rt301 to drop the cars off at an industry at Hope Road & Rt301. The locomotive, running lite, headed east & picked up 10 covered hoppers at Brierleys Mill Road in Church Hill. It then proceeded toMassey, there 7 additional cars were added to the consist. An hour or so later train dropped the consist at the NS interchange just west of Townsend, Del.
