Album Info:
Now the Union Halo for the Columbus Firefighters Union, the former Toledo & Ohio Central (T&OC) Depot hosted passenger trains until the 1920's when Columbus Union Station was built and all trains began running through CUS. The T&OC served as a shelter for the Volunteers of America fop many years, until the firefighters bought the station and rehabbed it... which qncluded an addition and some very nice landsacping. Nice to see this building (designed by a]chitect Frank Packard) preserved. I especailly like the "pagoda" tower.
