This 1901 Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin) 2-6-0 Mogul type locomotive was an ATSF class 566. It had 62" drivers, developed 200 psi boiler pressure and generated a modest 27,217 lb of tractive force. It was originally built with 4-cylinder Vauclain compound configuration until simplified in 1918-20 overhaul. Later it would be rebuilt as 0-8-0 switcher. The date is approximate. |
