BO 4-6-0 #2057 - Baltimore & Ohio
Title:  BO 4-6-0 #2057 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:  Built by Baldwin in 1901, this class B-19a loco had 68" drivers, developed 200 psi boiler pressure for its 21"x28" cylinders (dia & stroke) and produced a tractive effort of 30,870 lb. It was converted from a Vauclain compound by the B&O shops in 1904. From the SteamLocomotive.com website, the class "served long and well ...They hauled the 'varnish' west of Cumberland, were used as helpers on the grades, and were on the head-end of express and fast-freight trains. All had retired by 1934." The date is approximate.
