Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-4-2 Class P-1 2500, date, location, and photographer unknown, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 2500 was built by Baldwin in 1899 (c/n 16547) as number 1591, a Class P-1-C (compound) 4-4-2, renumbered to 2500 in 1904, rebuilt in 1913 to simple expansion and reclassed P-1, retired in January 1933.

Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4-4-2 class P-1 2500 at Alma, Wisconsin on August 21, 1930, photographer unknown, print by Martin Brady, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 2500 was built by Baldwin in 1899 as a class P-1-Comp (compound) 4-4-2 and numbered 1591. During 1913 it was rebuilt to a simple 4-4-2, classed P-1 and renumbered 2500. It was retired in January 1933.
