Description:  Somehow the reporting mark "BA"is listed in this site as Baltimore & Annapolis instead of the correct Boston & Albany. This is an example of a beautiful 1926 Lima built Berkshire that just looks like power personified. Specifics - class A-1b, class A-1b, 63" drivers, 240 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 389,000 lb, tractive effort of 76,160 lb. The loco was scrapped in 1949. No exact date, location or photographer was listed for this photo unfortunately.
