Title:
PRR 2502, GF-25, 1966
Description:
Horseshoe Curve-1966. Here is an original photo that I took at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, during mid-May of 1966. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2502, #2544, and #2507. All three are GF-25's built by General Electric and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #2502 and #2507 were built in 1962, but #2544 was built in 1965. They are pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight around the Horseshoe Curve and down to Altoona and points East.
