||Fire Power. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, during 1948. Photo Caption: "2-10-0, Class I-1, after passing center of Horseshoe Curve on downgrade. Eastbound train." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4393, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1923 and retired in August of 1959. This photo comes from a slide set entitled "Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania Railroad" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa.
