Description:  This EMD E6A unit built in May of 1942 as #451A now wears a new number and a drab paint scheme that reflected the cost cutting efforts of management. The unit served until being one of the last to be scrapped in 1970. The photo is from the Stephen Timko Jr collection although no photographer was listed.
