Built by Alco-Brooks in March 1908 (c/n 45078) as Cananea Rio Yaqui y Pacifico #4, it became SPdeM #4 in 1909, then Arizona Eastern #36 in 1912, then SP #1295 in 1924, rebuilt for Maintenance of Way service July 23, 1940 as an 0-6-0T and numbered 217, sold for scrap in May 1959.
