According to another RRPA contributor, Jeffrey Lawrence, this Indiana Eastern was a brief freight-only predecessor to the Carthage Knightstown & Shirley tourist line. It has no relation to the current Respondek operation with the same name in Cottage Grove, IN, taht began in 2005. The color slide was by rail fan Gary L. Powell . |
