Built by the Grand Trunk's own shops in 1904, this 2-6-0 Mogul started out as GTR #802 but was renumbered GTR #1282 in 1910 and again to CN #818 in 1923 when it landed on the CN roster. Specs - serial #1462, E-7-a class, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 177,688lb, tractive effort of 27,846 lb. The loco was retired in June of 1951 and scrapped. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo but it appears to be the Montreal yard.. |
