Description:  Here is an original 35mm color slide that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, during April of 1993. Shown here is former Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7048, an EFS-17M road switcher built by GM-EMD in December of 1955, rated a 1,750 horsepower, later owned by the Penn Central Railroad and Conrail, and finally enshrined at the Curve on 5 September 1985. The names of the photographer and the other folks pictured here are not recorded.
