Old and now rare |
Description: |
An older Alco is the second unit on this eastbound. CN had some RS 18s that were retrucked with A1A trucks to spread the weight on some of their lighter rail branches, and redesignated RSC 13. This one was on a road train passing the station at Moncton. |

Another 616 |
Description: |
This time its a westbound, led by another HR 616. These units seemed to be all over eastern Canada. We had seen several in the Montreal area as well. This train is like a survey of MLW power, with six of seven units of MLW heritage, dating back to the 50's. |
