The Arrow I's (Jersey Arrows) where demotorized and converted to Push-Pull Comet IB coaches, but in this photo, the pantograph is a dead giveaway that this is still a motored coach at the time this photo was taken. Christian Brown	General	You're both off a little, those are definitely Arrow IIIs, note the lack of corner air scoops and the presence of Stemman pantographs. Also, 510 is indeed modified, since these cars originally could NOT couple together. They were rebuilt around 76-77 to overhaul these fire prone cars, and give them compatible couplers. That is why they were renumbered from the 100 series to the 500 series. Had they persisted, it was planned to renumber them in the 1200 series on NJ transit, but that never happened.	6/17/2013 12:36:38 PM
