North on the Northern Pacific's Pembina Line
Looking at the former location of a diamond with the GN's line to Grafton ND. the far track used to curve towards the photographer, across the diamond, then went south to Grand Forks. now just the connection track remains. the track in the forground is owned by Dakota Northern, the farther track, which is the Ex-NP line is still owned by the BNSF and is used by the Drayton Local daily. to the right a few yards is the switch where the two tracks join and the Dakota Northern track ends and becomes the BNSF Glasston Sub.
