J d General Or some sort of low rated F-M unit. Good catch whatever it is. 12/4/2009 4:28:53 PM
Connor Chinoy General Gees, I can't place it. It looks familiar, but I forget who made it. It is NOT Alco or F-M, though, or any of the big builders. 10/13/2011 8:49:50 PM
Connor Chinoy General What intrigues me more, are those teensy little four-wheel thins attached to eigher end. They're not articulated to it, so they're not pony trucks, they're too short for spacers, there's no point in having a walk-over car right next to the locomotive, so what the hell are those? 10/13/2011 8:51:17 PM
mike decarter General spacer cars for the furnace when they shove or remove cars look at the burned paint 8/25/2012 5:26:30 PM
Bruce Mercer General Its a 100ton Davenport endcab, built new as Inland Steel #83; its 36-inch gauge and was sold after Inland, to USS South Works and re# 127; later to USS Gary Works 127 9/30/2016 11:17:17 AM
