SGLR DeSoto Turn
SGLR currently interchanges with CSXT at Arcadia once a week. Today's train is 46 cars. Getting perfect weather with two motors and NO need to have the doors open...priceless!

Bernie Feltman General I wonder why they only interchange once a week instead of daily? 2/28/2010 8:42:00 PM
Kevin Andrusia General Even at the height of business, SGLR was only a tri-weekly interchange. When the unit flyash trains were running, they were busy as could be...then the economy tanked & the housing market, for which SGLR used to supply many deliveries, slid into oblivion. This is how it's come down to once a week, CSX tries to accumulate as much as they can take in one run. 2/28/2010 8:46:57 PM
