steven hall General East Branch & Lincoln #5 Baldwin was built brand new for the EB&L and was run by Louis Boyle for years. It had an ICC cab card and not only ran into the Lincoln, NH woods but also down the B&M branch as far as Livermore Falls, Beebe River and Campton Pond. It was used many times to repair flood damage on the B&M branch, especially after the 1927 flood. It survived until the 1960's as the mill switcher after the tails were pulled out of the woods after WWII. (Rails went to build the Edaville RR) Was a static exhibit at entrance to Loon Mt ski area until being exchanged for EB&L #3 after which it was refurbished by the White Mt.
