Bradley Ogden General Nice shot. Can you tell me more about this locomotive? 4/29/2011 4:58:44 PM
Rick Morgan General The Y-class were built from the early 1960s by Clyde-GM for Queensland Rail, being used as shunters (switchers) and other light duties. The later ones are powered by 8-645 engines with 650HP. 75 were built, most are retired now although V/Line, the Victoria passenger carrier, still keeps four for work in Melbourne. 4/29/2011 9:08:23 PM
John Eagan General The odd trucks are from trade in Electric EMU's and have GE traction motors. 1/14/2024 8:28:00 PM
