Diner/lounge 8310 was originally Wabash 51, and then Norfolk & Western 1051. It, along with a combine, three dome coaches and dome-lounge-observation car, were built by Budd in 1950 as the new BLUE BIRD; and all of these cars went to Amtrak. The 8310 was photographed on the southbound PANAMA LIMITED. |
