Looks like it was made from whatever spare parts were lying around. Sounds like a bulldozer when moving. Notice the single flap-covered stack.

Steve Young General Standard AAR Type A trucks, as found under many EMD switchers, not just ALCOs, although this doesn't look like an SW frame, so it probably was rebuilt on an ALCo frame. I suspect that it's also not an RL1500, because the other RL1500s listed on this site are all end-cab switchers, although the RL1000 has a body similar to this. 5/4/2020 12:55:52 AM
