SP 7446  Editors Pick!        
VAUGHN NM Sept 3 1983 -- Southern Pacific SD45r 7446 sits on the Golden State Route just short of the underpass at the Santa Fe's Transcon. Note the train order stand beside the third unit. No. 7446 was built as SP SD45 8882 in March 1967 and rebuilt to an SD45r in July 1982. It was sold to Boise Locomotive Co, Boise ID, on Sept 30 1999. (Roster information from utahrails.net)
