| Dale WY Oct. 19 1977 -- Union Pacific DDA40X 6915 is the trailing unit on a westbound train. EMD built the 6915 (b/n 3451) in October 1969. It was retired in December 1984, donated on May 12 1985 to the Southern California chapter of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society (Pomona CA), delivered July 1985 and on July 28 1987 was delivered to its display site at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona.
