EL RS2 #906 - Erie Lackawanna  Contributor's Pick!
Sitting between its sisters in the Saddle Brook, NJ yard, EL #906 was delivered to the Erie by Alco in November of 1949 and served as ERIE #906 before the merger. It carried the same number as EL #906. When the loco was merged into the Conrail roster, it was renumbered CR 5206. The final disposition is unknown but would assume that it was scrapped like many of the Alcos were under Conrail sometime in the late 1970's to early 1980's. No photographer was listed and the date is approximate since none was given.
