Always happy to post photos from my boyhood home of Indianapolis - this time its an Alco-Schenectady Pacific originally built for the Cincinnati, Indianapolis & Western in 1924. 73" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure delivered to its 23"x28" cylinders, engine weight of 424,000 lb, tractive effort of 34,494 lb.
