Originally built for the Charleston & West Carolina in November of 1950 as their #801 (builder #13023, this SW7 switcher wore ACL #200 before it finally became #718 seen here. Note the jaunty crewman riding point on the step. The unknown photographer listed this comment on the back of the photo - "Atlantic Coast Line #718 crossing 8th St entering Union Sta in Augusta." |
