Detailed unit history: Retired from UP 8 Oct 92. Leased to NdeM 03/90 to 04/90. Returned to UP and stored. Leased to NdeM 02/92 - 10/92. Sold to Helm Financial 26/5/93. Rebuilt to HLCX #3099 by AMF, Montreal,, QC; completed 28/2/94. In service as HLCX #5000, then rebuilt by HLCX as SD40M-3 #6081. Unit still on active roster. 8/29/2009 5:09:42 PM
