Nice older photo of a Baldwin 0-6-0 switcher built for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois Rwy spotted here in the Hoosier city of Evansville, IN. The loco started out as C&EI 15 (serial #28437, class S-38) but was renumbered and reclassified in 1911 as C&EI #3637. In June of 1939, the loco was assigned switching duies in Evansville, IN. It was scrapped in June of 1945. Sid Davies photo |
