Snowflake  Contributor's Pick!
With its clean white exterior, UTA 901 has gained the nickname "Snowflake" from local railfans. A strange twist of irony, as the winter of 2015-16 proved unusually harsh for this snowy engine, when cold temperatures literally froze components of the engine in place, forcing the need for sudden emergency repairs. Now, in a 100 degree summer, Snowflake is back at work serving both UTA and the Union Pacific. Here is Snowflake at her usual resting spot in UPs Fourth South Yard
