Tom Beckett	General	Congrats on the EP. To look at the former Erie right of way now, it's hard to believe there was ever a railroad there at all, never mind a double track line with the two tracks separated by a wide distance. I have followed this line, as much as one can, through most of Indiana. A lot of it is just plowed under, some is totally overgrown-look at where it crossed US 421. It's amazing to think of the traffic volume at a place like North Judson 50 years ago; that place is totally gone now as far as common carrier rail transport.	8/13/2016 4:17:50 AM

Disko Then and Now
The top photo was taken by Sandy Goodrick in 1951 on the CR400S bridge that used to pass over the tracks. There used to be a jog in the road, where it now is CR 1550 E. A road bridge came across perpendicularly to the tracks, rather than an angled bridge, which would be required now. The bridge was removed in 1984 after the tracks were removed, the ROW was filled in, and the road was straightened. On the bottom is the exact same location on October 20, 2015, believe it or not.
