| Former Elk River Coal & Lumber Co. 2-8-2 #10 was repainted and relettered as B&O 4559 and placed on display at Heritage Station in Huntington, WV. I took this photo while a downpour was drenching everything in sight in June 1992, exact date uncertain. This engine had been placed here back around 1977 and was literally on open display for many years. The lettering is not completely accurate for B&O's steam power, but it sure looks good to me. |
