PRR 5599, BS-7, 1962
Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 18 August 1962. Shown here is PRR engine #5599, a BS-7 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1950 and rated at 700 horsepower. It is pulling the outbound Roaring Springs Local past the Samuel Rea Shops, parallel to West Loop Road.
