| Northbound Coal. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Philip R. Hastings that was taken near Leolyn, Pennsylvania, on 5 May 1957. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4632, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during October of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in January of 1931, and retired in January of 1960. Also visible are two PRR Diesel locomotives: #5756 and #5757. Both are AFP-20's built by the American Locomotive Company in November of 1947, rated at 2,000 horsepower each, and retired in September of 1962. Given the placement of this photo in the series, the implication is that these locomotives uncoupled from the coal train, moved to the water tower, and then only engine #4632 recoupled with the coal train.
