| Aiken Railway has been operating for a while since taking over the NS line at Aiken. Here's a photo taken 11/20/2016. The area near sister 4201 to the right has been cleaned up of old ties, tie plates and excess rail since take over. The rail line has received ballast. In the distance is a cut of covered hoppers for local industry. 4202 sits ready for its next assignment. (Photographed from the public roadway next to the tracks and cropped.) |
