Beautiful beast of a steam locomotive, this 2-6-6-2 "Mallet" type articulated unit built by Alco-Schenectady in 1917 sits with its steam up and ready to haul another drag of coal cars. Specs - class H-4, 56.25" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" cylinders, engine weight of 425,000 lb, tractive effort of 67,104 lb. Actual location is unknown - let me know if you recognize it.
