Amtrak E9A 418 was leaving New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal on the northbound PANAMA LIMITED. It had been built as Union Pacific 913, and was the#second-to-last E-unit ever constructed. The unit retained its same Amtrak number for 20 years, and was sold for scrap in June 1981. Notice the OSCITROL light in the nose door. |
