LI 600         
Long Island HEP 600 trailing at Long Island City in Queens, New York City on an unknown day in June 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built as NYC FA2 1102 in October 1951 ( c/n 79301 ), later PC 1302, acquired March 6, 1974, and although it retained its Alco Model 244 diesel, it was derated to 600 hp, the traction motors were removed, and the locomotive was converted to a push-pull control cab, providing heat and lighting power to the coaches. It later found a home at the Western New York Railway Historical Society in Lackawanna, New York.
