"Baldwin Centipede," Page 34, 1967         
Here is page one of a two-page article entitled "Baldwin Centipede Production Model, Pennsylvania RR Class BP-1 3000 HP." Drawings by Craig Bossler. It was published originally in the February 1967 issue of "Railroad Model Craftsman" magazine, page 34. Middle Photo Caption: "May 1964 photo by Tom Smith at Hollidaysburg, Pa., shows half the PRR Centipede fleet. Not one sample of these huge locomotives were saved." #5814 is a BH-50 built by Baldwin as a passenger service 3,000 horsepower BP-60 in September of 1947, later regeared to a helper service 2,500 horsepower BH-50, and retired in April of 1962.
