Nose on  Contributor's Pick!
An ethanol train sits in a siding near Waseca waiting on a recrew, as a sign of the reason for many of these trains existence looms in the distance. Hard to believe that 30 years ago, this line was a C&NW cast off, part of the aborning DM&E, and I was chasing ex MILW SDL 39's here. That road was acquired by CP, and now is once again in the Class I fold, with big time power again plying its rails.
