Here is page two of a 13-page article by Mr. William Moedinger, Jr., entitled "East Broad Top." It was published originally in the August 1941 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 5. Partial Caption: "No. 2, the morning mixed train from Mount Union to Woodvale, assauts the steepest grade on the East Broad Top's main line, just north of Tunnel No. 1." Shown here is EBT engine #17, a 2-8-2 "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1918.
