Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Ivy City Yard in the District of Columbia during May of 1962. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4876, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata in January of 1939 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. This is the GG-1 that crashed into Union Station in 1953.
