| St Louis & San Francisco Railway (Frisco) 1522, 4-8-2, Southern 6100 FT Diesel, Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9908 Diesel, and Chicago & Illinois Midland 551 2-8-2 at the National Museum of Transportation at St. Louis, MO. The Southern FT would be repainted to its demonstrator colors for its 50th anniversary celebration at the EMD Lagrange plant (McCook, IL). I think there is a sort of optical illusion created with my son standing on a slope considerably closer than the engines. |
