| A CN local crosses Hwy. O as it heads north via former SOO rails at Mackville Station, WI, on 16 Oct. '21. Listed as Mackville Station on some old maps, distinguishing it from the community of Mackville (which is 1-mile due east of here), it is listed as Mackville on some time tables. The remnants of the depot's foundation are hidden in the overgrowth to the right of the lead locomotive. Part of the passing siding can be seen to the right of that, it has been truncated at Hwy. O. What remains forms a spur which could be used to service Greener Vision Recycling & Waste (Greener Vision Recycling, Inc.), W4892 County Rd. O, Appleton, WI 54913 (physically located in Town of Center, Outagamie Co., WI). |
