Here is page 14 of a 78-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "Those Amazing Class 'D' Locomotives." It was issued originally in June of 1981. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #184, a D-6 (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops in July of 1881 and retired in July of 1906 after 25 years' service.
